VALLETTA (MALTA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – Three explosions occurred in the early morning hours in Magħtab, involving a fireworks factory, shortly after 6:30 a.m.
A large plume of smoke was seen rising from the site and was visible across multiple areas of the island, prompting concern among residents.
The police confirmed that no one was present inside the facility at the time of the explosions, and no fatalities or injuries have been reported.
However, nearby residential properties sustained damage as a result of the blasts. Authorities are investigating the cause of the explosions.
