LONDON (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – “Man City ‘serious contenders’ to sign Vinicius Junior.” This is the headline chosen by English outlet TeamTalk to report the Citizens’ strong interest in Vinicius Junior, a winger who still has one year left on his contract with Real Madrid, but who is currently quite distant from a possible renewal, given that negotiations reportedly broke down last year, with both parties meeting at the end of the season.
The World Cup could further complicate matters, and Manchester City has decided to look into the matter, ready to dive into a potential deal that, however, also has other major European football clubs involved.
In the Premier League, TeamTalk writes, Arsenal and Chelsea are the main contenders, with Liverpool and Manchester United more on the sidelines.
Outside of the UK, there are also Bayern Munich and PSG, not to mention the wealthy clubs in the Saudi Pro League, who have already been working to bring the Brazilian Vinicius to Arabia in the past.
