ATHENS (GREECE) (ITALPRESS) – Rafa Benitez will not manage Panathinaikos next season. Hired last October on a contract running until 2027, the 66-year-old Spanish coach — who has managed, among others, Valencia, Liverpool, Inter, Chelsea, Napoli, Real Madrid, Newcastle and Everton during his career — failed to do better than a fourth-place finish, which secures a spot in the Conference League. As a result, the club announced that it had “ended its collaboration” with Benitez.
