PARIS (FRANCE) (ITALPRESS) – The fears expressed last night by Slot and Konatè proved well-founded: having been stretchered off in tears in the 30th minute of the Champions League match between Liverpool and PSG, Hugo Ekitike, French media reported, suffered a ruptured right Achilles tendon. This injury will force him out of action for a long time —in these cases, recovery time is estimated at nine months —and will most importantly deny him the next World Cup with France.
