LONDON (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea secured their second consecutive win in the seventh round of the Premier League, beating Everton away from home. A brace from Pedro Neto proved decisive, with goals in the 46th and 90th minutes. The Blues thus moved up to 13 points in the standings.
However, there are concerns at Chelsea over the condition of Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who was forced to leave the pitch in the 75th minute after suffering a blow to the head in a collision with Branthwaite.
According to the BBC, the goalkeeper was taken to hospital.
