FLORENCE (ITALPRESS) – Fiorentina have finalized the signing of striker Beto from Everton overnight.
After Joshua Zirkzee, for whom the Tuscan club had been prepared to pay Manchester around €40 million, indicated that he was not interested in moving to Florence, Fiorentina’s directors completed the deal for the Portuguese centre-forward, investing €18 million in the transfer.
The former Udinese striker is expected to arrive in Florence today to undergo his medical tests and complete the formalities for signing his contract with the Viola club.
At the same time as Beto’s arrival, Fiorentina will give Moise Kean the green light in the coming hours to travel to Como. The Lombardy-based club will pay Fiorentina a total of €40 million for the signing of the Vercelli-born forward, who was born in 2000.
