ROME (ITALPRESS) – Shortly after Brazil’s defeat to Norway and their elimination from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, head coach Carlo Ancelotti sought to ease concerns, describing the moment as “the beginning of a new cycle.”
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) also reaffirmed its support for the Italian manager, expressing its “confidence in Ancelotti’s work,” according to Rodrigo Caetano.
The former player, now the Brazilian national teams’ executive director, said that “the coach is guaranteed for the next cycle” and added that “starting in September, we will begin rebuilding the team, building on the positives from this World Cup while making the necessary adjustments.”
