Pape Sarr is a new Juventus player

TURIN (ITALPRESS/MNA) – Pape Matar Sarr is a new Juventus player. The Senegalese midfielder, born in 2002, joins the Bianconeri following his stint in the Premier League with Tottenham, the club where he continued his development in European football. Born in Thiaroye, Senegal, on September 14, 2002, Sarr took his first steps in the sport in his home country before moving to France to join Metz. It was with the French side that he made a name for himself at a very young age, attracting the attention of Tottenham; the English club signed him in the summer of 2021 but allowed him to remain in Ligue 1 on loan for another season.

A dynamic midfielder with a strong physical build—capable of combining quality and intensity in both attacking and defensive phases—Sarr gained valuable experience in England, amassing over 100 Premier League appearances and playing in European competitions, ultimately lifting the 2024/25 Europa League trophy with Spurs. At the same time, he became a key figure for the Senegal national team, winning the Africa Cup of Nations in 2022. Now, a new adventure begins for Sarr in Italy, wearing the Bianconeri jersey.
