ROME (ITALPRESS) – The injury scare regarding Gavi at Barcelona has been resolved. The midfielder—who suffered a torn cruciate ligament in 2023—took a knock to his right knee during yesterday’s match against Elche (won 5-0 by the Blaugrana), but medical tests carried out this morning confirmed it was merely a contusion. Consequently, there is no injury for the 22-year-old, who will return to training in the coming days. Meanwhile, players who did not feature in the match or played limited minutes undertook a more intense workout during today’s training session. Among them was Rodri, who completed the full session alongside Balde, Olmo, Brian Fariñas, Cortés, Gordon, Bisiwu, Koundé, Cancelo, Cubarsí, Szczesny, Eder Aller, and Hamza Abdelkarim.
