MADRID (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – He arrived at Sevilla at the age of 10. He grew up there and stayed until he was 19, before moving to Real Madrid CF, where he spent 16 seasons at the highest level, followed by two more seasons with Paris Saint-Germain F.C.. He then returned to the Andalusian club for one season before ending his career with CF Monterrey in Mexico.
The story between Sergio Ramos and Sevilla is a very long one and it is not over yet — in fact, a new era is about to begin. According to Spanish media outlets, the former defender and his partners (Five Eleven Capital) are expected to sign contracts in the coming days for the acquisition of the club.
The total investment is estimated at around €450 million, including debt. According to AS, the agreement has been finalized, although some details — limited to payment terms — could still change if the team were to be relegated to Spain’s second division.
The deal is now only awaiting approval of the ownership transfer by Spain’s Higher Sports Council (CSD).
