RABAT (MOROCCO) (ITALPRESS) – The Kingdom of Morocco has welcomed the ceasefire announcement between the United States and Iran. A statement from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Kingdom supports the upcoming negotiations, facilitated by Pakistan, and hopes that these negotiations “will lead to lasting peace, strengthen stability in the region, and take into account the overriding interests of the sister Arab countries of the Gulf.” The Kingdom of Morocco, according to the statement, emphasizes the importance of ensuring navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, in accordance with international maritime law.
