Chelsea and Man City eye Cesc Fabregas

LONDON (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – He’s battling for the Champions League with Como. If the season ended today, he’d be celebrating a historic qualification for Europe’s premier club competition, all while leading a young team that plays great football. Sure, there’s significant investment from the owners, who have signed the most promising talents over the years, but Cesc Fabregas’s work has undoubtedly been excellent.

And he hasn’t gone unnoticed, so much so that, according to the English team TeamTalk, Chelsea are following him with great interest and would be ready to bring him back to Stamford Bridge, where he played and won between 2014 and 2019. The Spaniard would be their first choice if Rosenior were to leave at the end of the season, but that’s not a concrete possibility at the moment, given that the former Strasbourg player signed a contract until 2032 last January. Much will depend on the Blues’ qualification for the Champions League. That’s not all, because Manchester City are also reportedly among Fabregas’ suitors, seen as a potential heir to Pep Guardiola, should the Catalan manager decide to leave the Etihad at the end of the season.
