BERLIN (GERMANY) (ITALPRESS) – He’ll return sooner or later, he’s not sure when or, more importantly, where, but the time hasn’t yet come to call Jurgen Klopp’s coaching career over. The manager who brought Liverpool back to their former glory and is now Red Bull’s football manager will be covering the World Cup as a pundit on German TV, and during his presentation, he spoke about his future. He began with the rumors that he might one day take over the Germany bench.
“I’m not thinking about it at the moment, and fortunately there’s no reason to,” explained the former “Reds,” who doesn’t want to put any pressure on current coach Julian Nagelsmann before the World Cup. “As for my future as a manager, I’m quite old,” says the 58-year-old German, “but I’m not finished as a coach yet; I haven’t reached retirement age yet. We’ll see what the future holds, even though I don’t have any plans right now.”
