MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The Ballon d’Or donated to the Casa Milan museum could be a sign of the club’s desire to move forward together, but it could also be a farewell gift. According to “Mundo Deportivo,” Luka Modric—who turns 41 next September—hasn’t yet decided what to do next season.
The Rossoneri are reportedly delighted to be able to count on the Croatian midfielder—who has missed only one league game so far—for another year, but the former Real Madrid player hasn’t made any official announcement yet.
When he signed, Modric’s sole objective was to reach the World Cup in America, but he’s reportedly still considering what to do after that. Furthermore, upon joining the Rossoneri, the Croatian accepted a significant salary reduction, going from €5 million gross to €2.5-€3 million compared to his last contract at Real Madrid.
