BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA) (ITALPRESS) – After the next World Cup in America, Nicolas Otamendi will end his time with the Argentina national team. The Benfica captain himself confirmed this during the team’s training camp.
“After the World Cup, my time with the national team is over, that’s a fact,” the 38-year-old center-back said. “I’m living this moment to the fullest. What if this is also Messi’s last World Cup? We don’t talk about that. When we get together, we live in the moment, we enjoy the opportunity to be together once again, and nothing more. After the World Cup, I’ll be an Argentina fan like everyone else.”
