ROME (ITALPRESS) – Bournemouth, currently tenth in the Premier League, posted on X a photo of actor Michael B. Jordan holding his Oscar while celebrating the statuette he won last night at the 98th ceremony of the Academy Awards.

The tribute comes because the American actor is a minority shareholder in the English club. In 2022, Jordan, together with entrepreneur Nullah Sarker, became a minority shareholder of the club, whose majority stake is owned by Bill Foley, head of Black Knight Sports & Entertainment.

Four years later, the American actor won the Oscar for Best Actor for his dual role — playing twin brothers — in the film Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler.

“A day of pride for the Cherries family,” reads the post from AFC Bournemouth.
