WOLFSBURG (GERMANY) (ITALPRESS) – Dieter Hecking is the new coach of Wolfsburg, the third in a troubled season for the German club, second to last in the Bundesliga. The 61-year-old takes over from the dismissed Daniele Bauer, who, in turn, was brought in to replace Paul Simonis. “Hecking brings with him exactly the experience we need in the current situation. He knows the club, the environment, and the Bundesliga very well. We are convinced that with his expertise and personality, he will provide the team with the stability needed to achieve their goal of staying up,” explains VfL sporting director, Pirmin Schwegler.
