I always believe in building a long-term project, and I believe all the conditions are in place for everything to work out well.” These were the words of Samir Xaud, president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, regarding the possibility of Carlo Ancelotti extending his tenure as coach of the Seleção beyond the 2026 World Cup.
The federation’s number one spoke about the matter during the CBF Academy Summit, and according to ESPN, the Federation has already informed the Italian coach that it is ready to extend his contract, which expires in 2026, until the 2030 World Cup.
