BARCELONA (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – “Do I want to stay? Definitely.” Marcus Rashford, speaking to ESPN, confirmed that he has found the ideal environment in Barcelona to relaunch his career. The 27-year-old English striker arrived last summer on loan from Manchester United with an option to buy for €32 million. Although still tied to the Red Devils until 2028, there is no future for him at Old Trafford, which is why staying at Blaugrana is his first option.
“I enjoy myself here, and I think that’s true for anyone who loves football. Barcelona is a key club in the history of the game, and as a player, it’s an honor to be here,” said Rashford, who has already scored five goals in 12 games. “People forget this, but I spent 23 years of my life at Manchester United, so sometimes you just need a change, and I think that’s the case for me.”
