MÖNCHENGLADBACH (GERMANY) (ITALPRESS) – Alexander Blessin is the new head coach of Borussia Mönchengladbach. The German club—currently bottom of the table with zero points from four matches—made the official announcement. The 53-year-old former Genoa manager takes over from Eugen Polanski, who was dismissed after the third matchday, and interim coach Lichte. He has signed a contract running until 2028, with his presentation scheduled for tomorrow at 1:30 PM alongside Head of Sport Rouven Schröder. Blessin began his coaching career at Leipzig, followed by stints with Oostende, Genoa, Union Saint-Gilloise, and St. Pauli; now, he embarks on a new chapter at the helm of Borussia Mönchengladbach.
