The Bayern Munich goalkeeper sustained an injury during yesterday’s match away to Mainz (which ended in a 2-1 victory for the Bavarian side), suffering a “partial tear of a tendon in his right foot.” The recovery period for the 40-year-old goalkeeper is estimated at approximately six weeks, meaning he is not expected to return until January 2027—a further injury-related absence for him this season.
