MUNICH (GERMANY) (ITALPRESS) – Bayern Munich and Harry Kane are ready to sit down for talks. With his contract expiring next June, the 33-year-old England striker confirmed to Bild that negotiations over a contract extension will begin in the coming days.
“We had made it clear that we would talk about it after the World Cup and after my holidays. I don’t know exactly when yet, but negotiations will start this week or next week. We’ll start talking about it and, as I’ve already said, we’re relaxed. This is the right time to start negotiations, given that there is only one year left on my contract. But both sides are relaxed and I’m pretty sure the talks will begin this week or next week.”
Both Bayern and the player are fully intent on continuing their partnership. In recent days, Uli Hoeness stressed: “Harry feels very comfortable in Munich. We are also very happy with him, and I see no reason why he should leave next year.”
