ROME (ITALPRESS) – Mason Greenwood’s future remains unclear. Despite the agreement reached between his entourage and Fenerbahçe, Atlético Madrid appears to be back in the running to acquire the player, who was recently linked with Roma. According to L’Equipe, the club has offered the Englishman a five-year contract with a net salary of €5-6 million per season, plus a share of image rights.
Fenerbahçe has reportedly submitted a proposal for a four-year contract with a net salary of €7-8 million per season. For Marseille, Atlético Madrid’s transfer offer (€45 million plus €5 million in bonuses) is more attractive than Fenerbahçe’s (€40 million plus bonuses). The final decision will be up to the player.
