ROME (ITALPRESS) – Adolfo Urso, the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, is meeting with senior executives from the country’s sovereign wealth fund, the Kuwait Investment Authority, to discuss potential new investments in Italy. Key topics include Kuwait Petroleum Corporation’s industrial presence in Milazzo, Sicily, and its participation—through Q8—in a joint project with Eni for a new biorefinery at the Versalis site in Priolo.
This will be followed by a meeting with the board of the Union of Investment Companies—the association representing Kuwait’s investment and financial services firms—where the Minister will outline new opportunities for investment and for industrial and technological partnerships in Italy. The discussion will focus on sectors such as energy, critical raw materials, AI and data centers, “Made in Italy” manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, robotics, and aerospace. Representatives from Italy’s public and private finance and investment sectors are also accompanying the Minister.
