ROME (ITALPRESS) – A muscle tear in his right thigh: this is the result of the instrumental tests Neymar underwent, the injury sustained in Wednesday’s match against Palmeiras, which sealed the elimination of his Santos club in the Copa do Brasil quarterfinals.
The 34-year-old former PSG striker is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks, although Santos has not specified a recovery time. After the match against Palmeiras, Neymar complained about the poor pitch conditions to explain the injuries sustained, both to himself and to Alvaro Barreal, who also suffered a torn hamstring in his left thigh.
