Arsenal, Arteta “No striker from the transfer market? I love the players we have”

LONDON (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – The striker ultimately did not arrive, but that is no problem. Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal are ready to move forward after the end of the transfer window, having collected six points from their first two games.

“I love the players we have,” the coach assured. “Some of them are really, really very good. We have to trust them and make sure we are completely behind them, and I will do everything I can to bring out the incredible talent we have.”

Arteta had called for Arsenal to be ambitious, quick and smart ahead of the transfer window, and now that it is over, he guarantees that “the objective has been achieved.”

There is confidence that Bruno Guimaraes will recover in time for the match against Chelsea. Konsa is available, but Arteta has not yet made a final decision on whether to start him.

Inevitably, there was also a comment on Xabi Alonso, a childhood friend and now rival in charge of the Blues: “We have been in touch, and I’m really happy for him. It’s incredible to face each other at this level now, coaching two of the best teams in England. It’s a wonderful experience.”
