LONDON (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Victor Osimhen: the former Napoli striker is the marquee signing Arsenal dreams of securing to wrap up their transfer window. According to The Telegraph, the interest in the Nigerian player is linked to inquiries made by Galatasaray regarding Gabriel Martinelli—for whom the Gunners are asking €45 million—and Ethan Nwaneri, who is returning from a loan spell at Marseille.
Arsenal reportedly used these discussions as an opportunity to talk about Osimhen; the Turkish club had previously rejected a €130 million offer from Al-Hilal for the striker but showed a willingness to negotiate, particularly if the Gunners were to include one or more players of interest to the Istanbul side as part of the deal. So far, the English champions have already spent over €170 million to sign Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis, as well as to make Piero Hincapié’s move from Bayer Leverkusen permanent.
