TRIPOLI (LIBYA) (ITALPRESS) – The Libyan Ministry of the Interior has inaugurated a new office dedicated to combating human trafficking within the General Security Department. The office was established to strengthen the fight against human trafficking and to develop cooperation mechanisms with national and international partners. The new unit aims to enhance the specialized capabilities of security forces and ensure that investigations and legal proceedings comply with international standards and Libyan law. The office will operate in coordination with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Tripoli.
