MADRID (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – Saudi Arabia will not be played in 2027, and the event will be postponed to 2028. The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has announced that next year’s Super Cup will be held in Istanbul from February 2 to 7, rather than in Saudi Arabia as in recent editions, as the Asian Cup is scheduled for that period.
The final four, as usual, will pit Copa del Rey winners Real Sociedad against league runners-up Real Madrid in the semifinals. The other semifinal will feature Spanish champions Barcelona and the Spanish Cup finalist, Atlético Madrid.
