LONDON (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Arsenal have strengthened their midfield with a major signing. The London club have officially announced the arrival of Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle, with the Brazilian midfielder signing a long-term contract and taking the number 39 shirt.
After developing his football career in Brazil, Guimarães began his professional career with Audax in 2015 before moving to Athletico Paranaense. In 2020, he joined Lyon, prior to making the move to Newcastle in January 2022.
During his four-and-a-half years with the Magpies, he made nearly 200 appearances, helping the club win the Carabao Cup in 2025 and secure Champions League qualification on two occasions.
The Brazilian, who has earned 48 caps for his national team, is now ready to link up with Mikel Arteta’s squad.
