ROME (ITALPRESS) – Two of Diego Maradona’s sisters, Rita Mabel and Claudia Norma Maradona, have been put on trial. Furthermore, part of their assets has been seized. All of this for fraudulent administration of the “Diego Maradona” brand, according to the South American press.
Maradona’s two sisters were tried without pre-trial detention and assets worth 2 billion Argentine pesos (approximately 1.15 million euros and 1.34 million USD) were seized. The case was brought before the judges following a complaint filed by two of Diego’s daughters, Dalma and Gianinna Maradona.
