The Portuguese club announced this in a statement specifying that the Portuguese coach has signed a contract until 2027. “It is also noted that, 10 days after the last official match of the 2025/26 season, under the same conditions, both Benfica and the coach may decide not to renew the contract for the 2026/27 season,” the statement continues.
