According to “Talksport,” the US president has received the green light to attend the ceremony, as he did last summer for the Club World Cup, but in this case he could go further and present the trophy himself, breaking official protocol. The presidents of Mexico and Canada, the other two hosting countries, will also be invited to the ceremony.
