MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Tijjani Reijnders says goodbye to Milan. His transfer to Manchester City was finalized in recent days and he is ready to make himself available to Pep Guardiola, but without forgetting the Devil and his fans. In a post on social media, with photos and videos of him in red and black, the Dutch midfielder writes: “Playing at San Siro was a dream. From now on I will carry Milan in my heart and I will always be a red and black. Thank you very much and always Forza Milan”, writes Reijnders who then moves on to photos and videos, adding other phrases and starting with the fans.
“Playing for you and being part of your history was a dream because Milan means iconic players. It was an honor to be part of this family”. Then the words dedicated to the other members of the club: “Thank you for the trust that the directors, the staff and the teammates have had in me. They have given me the opportunity to play at the highest level and to become the player I am today. I am incredibly proud to have won my first major trophy here. To say that Milan will always have a special place in my heart is an understatement”.
“In this club I have really grown as a player and as a man. We have become parents of our little one here – he writes posting the photo of his son in his arms – and Milan is his hometown. All this in just two years. I can never thank you enough. With you we feel like family and family is forever. With love Ti”, concludes Rejinders posting as the last photo his classic celebration after a goal scored in the derby against Inter.
