ROME (ITALPRESS/MNA) – Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met today with the Prime Minister of Libya’s Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Mohammed Dbeibeh. Discussions focused on ways to further strengthen the already solid bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of economic relations and investments in the energy sector.
The two leaders also reaffirmed their shared commitment to managing migration flows, reviewing the main ongoing cooperation activities with international partners such as Turkey and Qatar.
Finally, the Prime Minister reiterated Italy’s full support for a Libyan-led political process facilitated by the United Nations.
