MADRID (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – The ‘Clásico’ is moving to the courtroom. According to ‘Marca’, Barcelona has filed a defamation lawsuit against Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez, with the initial hearing for a conciliation attempt scheduled for November 25 at a Madrid court.
Barça is demanding that Pérez retract and correct the statements he made during a press conference last May regarding the Negreira case. Should the Real Madrid president fail to appear or refuse to retract his comments, the ‘Blaugrana’ intend to pursue criminal charges.
