MARSEILLE (FRANCE) (ITALPRESS) – “We want to compete with PSG better than last season.” Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi said this in a lengthy interview with L’Equipe, analyzing the year-by-year rivalry between OM and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Italian coach hopes for further growth in his squad: “I’m not saying PSG is stronger than OM,” he emphasized. “I’m saying that so far. It’s not me saying that. Paris were unbeatable last season, or almost.” Then on Luis Enrique: “He was extraordinary in making PSG a better team than they were without Messi, Neymar, or Mbappé. We also have a good team, but with ups and downs. If we become more consistent, we will have taken another step forward.”
