ROME (ITALPRESS) – Manchester City has rejected an offer of approximately £38.5 million (€45 million) from Barcelona for Rodri, the BBC reports. The English club is willing to part ways with the Spaniard, but their asking price exceeds £60 million (€70 million). The 30-year-old is in the final year of his contract and has yet to sign a new deal, fueling widespread speculation about his future. Real Madrid appeared to be the frontrunner as the next destination for the 2024 Ballon d’Or winner, but Barcelona now seems to have overtaken Los Blancos in the player’s list of preferences.
