VALLETTA (MALTA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – Malta’s electricity network came under renewed pressure as extreme heat drove power demand to record levels, triggering outages in several localities and renewing concerns over the resilience of the distribution system.
Enemalta said homes and businesses were affected by four separate and unrelated cable faults. Mobile generators were deployed to restore supply while repair crews worked to reconnect the affected substations.
