BARCELONA (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – Spain is breaking new ground. Starting with the 11th round of La Liga—taking place between this evening and Friday—referees will provide commentary on their respective matches for the television networks that hold the league’s broadcasting rights.
This practice will continue throughout the season, covering two matches per round. It begins this Saturday with Levante vs. Atlético Madrid, while on Sunday, the referee in charge of the Basque derby—Athletic Bilbao vs. Real Sociedad—will offer commentary on the events that unfolded at San Mamés.
