VALLETTA (MALTA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – The Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation has urged the European Union to take immediate action to end what it described as the systematic targeting of journalists by Israeli forces in Gaza.
In a statement, the NGO called on EU member states to suspend the EU–Israel trade agreement and halt arms sales, stressing that “trade cannot come before human lives or press freedom.” The appeal follows the killing of Al Jazeera reporters in Gaza.
