Recovery is estimated at approximately three weeks, barring any unforeseen circumstances during his rehabilitation. There’s less good news for goalkeeper Joan Garcia, who has torn the medial meniscus in his left knee.
The player will undergo arthroscopic surgery on Saturday by Professor Joan Carles Monllau. The Blaugrana medical staff expects him to be out of action for between four and six weeks, depending on his post-surgery progress. These two significant absences are forcing Flick to reconsider his plans for upcoming matches.
