BARCELONA (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – On the eve of the away match against Real Sociedad in San Sebastian, Hansi Flick spoke at a press conference. The Blaugrana coach devoted ample time to transfer market dynamics and the internal balance of power within the dressing room. Flick acknowledged Real Sociedad’s positive moment, emphasizing the confidence built up by Imanol Alguacil’s squad: “I’ve seen their players have more confidence, after two wins and a draw. It will be a tough match; they have fantastic players and are now very confident.”
He clearly showed respect for his opponent, but without losing sight of the main objective: “We want to win La Liga and win this match.” The most sensitive issue remains Dro’s future, as he increasingly edges closer to a possible exit from the club. Flick preferred not to elaborate, maintaining a cautious stance: “I‘ll speak when everything is finalized; now is not the time.”
He reiterated this position later: “I don’t want to comment on his possible exit, because as coaches, our job is to give the players energy and confidence so they can grow.” However, the coach didn’t hide his discomfort with the external pressure: “There are people… the entourage… I want to wait for this phase to pass. If he were to leave, we’ll talk about it, but not now.”
