ROME (ITALPRESS) – Football often transcends borders, and this time it happened quite literally. A 17-year-old Moroccan youth managed to reach Spain from Ceuta by hiding and clinging to the undercarriage of the Real Valladolid team bus. The incident occurred on Sunday as the Spanish team’s bus was returning home following a La Liga 2 (Spanish Second Division) away match against Ceuta at the Alfonso-Murube Stadium, which ended in a 1–1 draw.
The story, confirmed by the club itself, is making waves online. The young Moroccan was discovered huddled between the bus’s rear wheels after the vehicle had already traveled over a hundred kilometers.
He reportedly remained in that position throughout the ferry crossing from Ceuta to the Iberian Peninsula, finally seeking help during a stop at a rest area after disembarking in Spain.
