ROME (ITALPRESS/MNA) – “In these difficult days, my thoughts and my heart are even closer to Tunisia and to my people,” Kamel Ghribi, Chairman of GKSD and Vice-President of GSD (Gruppo San Donato), wrote on Instagram, voicing his support for Tunisians facing growing hardship.
“Tunisia is my homeland, the land of my fathers, my roots and my identity,” Ghribi said, expressing concern for “so many of my fellow citizens” struggling with “water and power cuts”, for young people searching “for a job and a future”, and for families being hit by mounting economic pressures.
“Behind every number there is a family, a hope, a dignity that deserves respect,” he said.
“To be Tunisian also means this: sharing the same destiny, especially when someone is suffering.”
Ghribi ended his message with a deeply personal tribute to his homeland: “Tunisia was my starting point and will always remain my compass.”
