PARIS (FRANCE) (ITALPRESS) – Paris Saint-Germain is accelerating its transfer activity and finalizing a promising move between the sticks. According to “L’Equipe,” the French club has reportedly reached an agreement with Parma for the purchase of Zion Suzuki, a 2002-born goalkeeper who has excelled in recent seasons with the Parma club.
The agreement is reportedly based on approximately €35 million, and the player is ready to sign a five-year contract with PSG. For Suzuki, born in the United States but a Japanese international, this would represent a further step up in quality after his growth in Serie A.
However, the goalkeeper is not expected to join the Parisian club immediately. PSG is reportedly considering loaning him out to allow him to find consistency and gain further top-level experience.
Juventus is also reportedly among the possible destinations, and the club is reportedly evaluating the Japanese goalkeeper’s profile as a way to strengthen its defense.
There is currently no definitive agreement on this, but the next few days could prove crucial in defining Suzuki’s future.
