VALLETTA (MALTA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – Malta’s Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Chris Fearne has been appointed Chair of the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG), the body responsible for monitoring member states’ adherence to the principles of the Commonwealth Charter.
Fearne chaired the group’s 73rd meeting, where ministers reviewed political developments in several Commonwealth countries, focusing on challenges to democracy, the rule of law and good governance.
