ISTANBUL (TURKEY) (ITALPRESS) – Besiktas is ready to make a significant financial effort to land a striker for Vincenzo Italiano. According to “A Bola,” the Turkish club has already submitted two offers to Benfica—the first for €20 million and the second for €35 million—for Vangelis Pavlidis, and in the coming days they could raise the stakes even further, reaching €40 million.
The 27-year-old Greek striker is coming off two seasons of 30 goals each, and the Portuguese club would not want to part with him unless Besiktas offers €50 million, further increasing the fixed fee and including some bonuses.
Pavlidis arrived at Dal Luz in the summer of 2024 from AZ Alkmaar for €18 million plus €2 million in bonuses.
