Yesterday there had already been a brawl between Valverde and Tchouameni, but today the situation escalated, so much so that the two reportedly came to blows. According to sources inside the Real Madrid dressing room, this morning, after yesterday’s argument, Valverde refused to shake his teammate’s hand before training, making the atmosphere of the session very tense, to the point of reaching peak tension in the dressing room, where a brawl involving several people broke out. In the clash between the two arguments, “unintentional and not caused by a blow from Tchouaméni” (Marca emphasizes), Valverde reportedly suffered a bruise that caused a cut and required hospitalization.
