MIAMI (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – Javier Mascherano has stepped down as head coach of Inter Miami. The Argentine manager, after leading the team to its first Major League Soccer title, announced his decision, explaining that he is leaving the role for “personal reasons.”
“I thank the club for their trust, all the staff, but above all the players who allowed us to experience unforgettable moments. I also want to thank the fans—none of this would have been possible without them. I will always carry the memory of our triumph with me and I wish the club all the best for the future. I have no doubt they will continue to achieve success.”
“Javier will forever be part of this club’s history and will always hold a special place in the Inter Miami family. Not only because of the unforgettable milestones he helped achieve, but also for the example he set through his dedication and daily commitment in leading the team. We respect his decision, we are deeply grateful for everything he has given, and we wish him all the best,” said club owner Jorge Mas.
